So we have decided to sell the rubicon and get a side by side. So what is my 2004 Honda rubicon worth? rubicon with gpscape, warn 2-4-2 select, itp mud/snow rims and tires, warn 3000lb winch, 2" receiver, high lifter springs front and rear, disc conversion front and rear, air box snorkel, camo fenders, FMF utility muffler, mud buster cam, 1,200 miles, not sure on hours. Do you think it's worth $4,000??

Kbb.com says trade in value is. $2320. In good condition. The retail value in excellent condition is $3400.. $3400 is what you could expect a dealer to ask for it. As far as the upgrades go.. they don't really hold their value. These values are what we would find using south Georgia as the market area. It may be +/- for your area. I would think $3000 would be a good baseline, then whatever you think the addons are worth in your area. Good luck
Sn: you think can go to. New Cars, Used Cars, Blue Book Values & Car Prices - Kelley Blue Book and input your local zip code the price for atvs can vary quite a bit from region to region. Atvs are listed under motorcycles.

****!!! you'll be lucky if you can get 3250 out of it. honestly. i got a pristine 07 foreman, modded to the max, with only 170 hrs. probably 2500 invested after purchase. only worth 4000 now.

My dad is selling his 2001 ruby. Everything stock, with 5500 miles. Shot I bet that's worth $1,200. man that sucks the big one. And I bet every year it looses money to. Do options add value to a machine? If not off they come. How much does a snow plow add too?

most people will not pay extra for mods like lift kit, aftermarket tires wheels, winch, exhaust, snorkel if it come on there great if not oh well most people like to do these things them selves. everyone i know including me wont even pay the nada value never mind the mods lol

dont get me wrong there are people out there that will pay for it if they really want it its just holding out for that person

I would start (depending on how well things are selling in your area) at $3800 OBO and work from there. Expect to get around $3000 though, maybe $3500 with the add-ons. They sell like hotcakes around here and bring over top book, especially the older machines with low miles. Most of the used ones I sell have over 10,000 miles on them and I have no problem getting top book out of them.

I bought my '02 in '05 for $4000 with only 225 miles on it. The machine was bone stock and clean as a whistle. The problem that I see from the picture is the machine is dirty and looks somewhat abused. What is with the seat? is that an aftermarket cover? It just doesn't look nice. Did you do the camo fenders? The mods that you have spell abuse, I wouldn't by an atv with cam, exhaust and snorkel. It tells me that it was under water. You live in Wisconsin and I spend all my time there. People up there want quiet machines for hunting and working on the farm. Wisconsin just doesn't have a lot of mudding or riding that they do down south or in Canada. Most of the trails are clean, high & dry. The other mods wouldn't be a problem. The best thing you have going is the relatively low miles.

Go on craigslist, see what others are asking for similar ATVs. It depends on your region, and how long you're willing to wait. I bet you can get $3500. Ask $3750 and see what happens. It seems I see a lot of great prices on wheelers on this forum, but mostly ones from down south for some reason.

the reason there so cheap is that thay lived there whole life in mud and water and and are ridden year round and hardly ever get washed !!!!! while in the north thay are only ridden 6 or 7 months a year or just a few months for hunting season !!

Rich is completely right. We do get alot alot of riding in year round. Lots of mud and water. Have to be careful what you buy down here. Lol,, mine was dirty when I bought it. But for $2500, im happy,I had to replace front bearings, brakes and a battery since i got it. Good luck with your sale.

Good luck with the sale bud....my neighbor just bought the same exact bike, 2300 miles on it for $2500. It was in pristine condition, but with no mods other than a winch, & bad tires that will have to be replaced asap.

After buying and selling both 650 Rincon and 500 Rubicon both 2004 recently in and around the northern Illinois and southern wisconsin area Id have to say that with the mileage and mods It might take a bit of waiting but you should have no problem getting 3500 but you had better list it at 4000 or best because somebody is gonna lowball you to death on it.
I sold my 2004 Ruby with like 8400 miles or so?(cant remember now?) and a cycle country plow and Harbor freight winch and like new tires for 3200 just this past spring and I was asking 3500. But there was snow on the ground so that might have helped?
Then I picked up a 2004 Rincon650 for 1500 in baaad! shape for 1500 near Milwaukee (Mukwanago?), fixed a few things and just recently sold it with the pod fried out, seat black duct taped and needing rear brake pads for 2800 and I was asking 3200 for it because of the pod and seat.
My newest deal is a 1998 450s w/ 2001 450es parts bike for 1000 bux!
I dont have any idea what its worth because its rough!! lol
But I dont care because Im getting tired of flipping bikes!and hopefully ill get to keep this one.lol
Eitherway, asking 4000 bux is not totally unreasonable at all!
However, if I had the loot and being the lowballing dog that I am Id come at you with a 3000 dollar offer and cross my fingers that you accept!lol

Good luck with your sell.
