First off, do you have a pic of your machine.... Id love to see what it looks like with the monster tires!
Second are you talking about a CD type stereo? Im running my own set-up and alot of guys are doing what I did thats how I got my idea. It was fairly simple and alot cheaper than buying premade audio tube.

How much cutting did you have to do to stuff them in there, by the way it looks sweet with them on there!
Nice to meet another brother!!! Too bad works a little slow right now :-/
If you go into my albums go to "my buggy". Look at the second pic. I have a piece of 4" pvc pipe with end caps holding a made in china "500w" amp.... its more like a 50w amp, and I have a toggle switch ran to it. It came with a cable that I can plug my ipod into and I used that. I found a set of marine speakers on ebay as well (thats where I got the amp too). In the third pic of that album you can see the two speakers mounted to my front rack extenders. I think total I have right aroud $60 give or take, I cant remember what it all cost. But it was alot cheaper to do it that way and so far it works great. I ran it all day yesterday and we did about 10hrs of booze cruisin.

I thought about an audio pipe, but wanted a complete head unit to get the (game, race) when we ride. check out my galley for pics of my set up. i plug my ipod direct to the cd player and it reads all 7000+ songs so i can contol all the music by the remote with titles/artist and charges it or anything usb. it also gives the handle bar light shine 4 the most part.

I'm currently putting together my own audio tube, but I'm trying to make something so that it doesn't bother the pod light for night riding. Rode one with a snorkel in the middle and made night riding horrible. But did the same bought an amp for 11 bucks, lol, and a pair of marine 4½ speakers. Haven't gotten the ends to mount the speakers, but will have them done for next trip, when ever that is......hopefully soon, need a guys trip, with out the inlaws......aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh

But on another note, sorry not a boilermaker, but am member Teamsters L.U. 322

Yea they're pretty simple to piece together. Mine is definintely outta the way, the amp is actually on the outside of the quad and the spaekers are on the rack extenders. Works really good. As far as the chineese junk amp im using, it sure makes the speakers scream so I cant complain too much.
