2007 rubicon issues

I just picked up a 2007 honda rubicon that is giving me a few issues.

First: the es shift will quit working after going into 5th gear, screen shows a blank "--" & flashes "ESPD1d2". After a restart it goes back to shifting/recognizing the gear... Its not an issue if starting out in "d1" or "d2" & shifts fine 1-4.

Second: the 4x4 indicator light flashes continuously in rounds of 5 & when the 4x4 switch is engaged nothing happens

First problem solved after some intense searching on the forum. I held the up & down shift buttons while turning machine on, then released and hit up , down, up, then took throttle from closed to open to closed. problem solved

second issue of no 4x4 still there though

I would just quickly check all the fuses just to be sure

Check fuses, but sadly that's not it. I checked diff fluid... It's full of mud sand/dirt. Already pulled the actuator & diff, ordering new one on eBay
