i would buy that 300 man there one tough scooter and for $1100 you win even if you had to put $500 into it !!!!

All it needs is brakes.. I got him down to $900 because he's 4hrs from me. I hear those things are pretty much indestructable... no smoke no clunk, shifts fine, just needs brakes..

if you get it for $900 you can buy the disk brake convertion kit for $200 and buy some stock foreman 450-500 or rubicon 12in wheels and tires for $200 off craigslist and have a awsome bulliet proof wheeler that will last for years !!!(there going for $2500 around me beat to shitt !!!

there was over 540,000 foretrax 300 built from 88 to 2000 . and thay never changed the desgine ......there are tons of parts out there .....

Get the 300. A lot of people think the only reason Honda quit making the 300 was that they never broke, and last forever, so people would never go back to buy another new Honda.

That early model ES on that rancher will likely give you problems too.

Great bike! We had 2 of them in the 90s, my brother had 300 2wd and I had the 4x4. Know as the Big Red over here and came with fender guards and the racks

They still fetch £1500gbp+ for real good examples
