My 2007 Honda foreman wont start and makes a clicking noise at the cylinoid. I’ve tried by passing it by touching a screw driver to the beg and pos post on the cylinoid but all it does it create a spark. It will crank when you pull start it also. I’ve also tried running a wire from the battery directly to the starter and all it does is spark. I’ve also replaced the cylinoid and have cleaned all the post, and when I turn my lights on the whole dash goes out but as soon as I turn them off it lights back up and whenever I try to start it the dash lights flicker but I have a new battery in it.

just curious, why would the dash go out when the headlights are turned on, then come back on when headlights are turned off? is the starter connected to the headlight switch

That's probably another issue. If you have a good new battery and you cross the terminals on the solenoid the starter should be working. It's like hooking it directly to the battery since your bypassing the solenoid. The only other thing would be a ground but if your getting good sparks when crossing the terminals it shouldn't be.
