Warn issued the recall on their winch solenoids. If you have an older 8-post solenoid, it needs replacing. Newer 4-post solenoids are ok.

Hello, got a note in the mail from Honda about a recall on warn winches from 'o1 to 'o5, 2500 and 3500. Something about them maybe starting on fire even when quad is off. Any one else get this note or actually have an electrical fire 'cause of winch?. Hubby going to check it out on weekend. Check out our pics at mirandah.fotopic.net
