Winch fitment problem......

My buddy just bought an '03 Rubicon, and it has a winch on it. When you turn the wheel it rubs up against the motor on the winch. Have any of you ever experienced this?? We ended up taking it off, when we put 27" Mud B!tches on it. Maybe a new winch mount plate is needed, the mount currently on it puts the winch way down at the bottom of the frame. Any help will be appreciated!!

ya all rubicon like 01-04 the winch is on the bottom.. down low... thats all i can realy say
