quick question, hmf pipe came with a 165....should I use that or the 170 that other people are using.....riding primarily in sea level. Occasional 1500-2000 or so
Yeah, definately try the 165. I am in tn. and ride anywhere from 1,000 to 3,200 ft el. and I am rich. At home (around 600-750ft) it's just a tad rich but when I get to royal blue or windrock it's get's richer and I can tell a power loss. I am putting in the 165 tonight in mine tonight. Mine is not snorkled, I just have a K&N air filter and a slip on HMF. Oh yeah, I suggest changing the phillips screws in the float bowl to socket head cap screws(allen wrench type). I went to take mine off saturday and 2 of the phillips rounded out with me, had to take the carb off the bike to get them out. I had gotten some allen screws but they were too short, so I had to get some more. The screws are standard M4x0.7pitch.
