I have owned my Rubicon for bout 3 years now, and I have always wondered which gear or tranny setting is best when goin through alot of mud and stuff. I have tried them all but I just want everyones opinion on which they think is best. Keep in mind that I am running 26" swamp foxes all the way around. Im gonna be entering it in a local mud bog for the first time and I want to make sure I start off in the best gear setting.

I USE ESP AND L.BUT I JUST CREEP THROUGH THE HOLES.
I'm always in ESP L when i'm in mud. it's easier to keep the RPM's up and keep the bike in it's power band.
i had 27" executioners with a bunch of mods on my rubicon and i always ran in ESP low. i would shift from 1st and 2nd, it just depended on how deep the mud was.

I think the best is ESP Low also. But if you are in the sloppy thin stuff, one of the automatic modes may be better...not sure on that
