Where to buy Gorilla Axles and DGL

Where is the best place to get Gorilla Axles and the DGL? Does anyone have the manufacturers websites?

Are they making the axles for the 05 foremans yet? How well do the factory axles hold up?

I am running 26" Outlaw MST's, and I mostly do trail riding and snow plowing. Plowing today, I thought I heard a pop, but not sure if it was the plow or the axlefront differential?

Is Highlifter the only source?

Thanks
Jon

the factory axles should hold up with for what what you are doing...especially with 26 inch tires. if you install a lift kit you may break something. however if you tear your boot than you can break a joint with stok tires once dirt gets the joint
I am planning on getting a lift kit, so should I go ahead and get axles also?

It just seems like a huge investment?

Jon
I ran my 500 w/29.5s and never broke an axle. With 26's you should be fine. The DGL is a good investment though. If you have to have them though try Yasky ATV for the DGL and call up Gorilla axle directly and speak to Greg. He cut me a great deal on axles.
no, i would not get the axles even if i had the lift unless i was running 28 or 29.5 tires. (mainly outlaws or zillas or vamps)

if you by chance tear a boot the gorilla boot is a good investment.

if you break an axle and dont want to spend $750+shipping on axles than do not go to your dealer to buy new ones. you can find themin other places for way cheaper.
look into maybe getting the Gorilla joints, a lot cheaper, they fit your OEM shafts.
Thanks guys, all of this helps. Looks like I will put on a lift and then ride until I need them.

Hey, has anyone tried one of those SS lift kits on ebay?

Jon
Dano on her has one. He said it was constructed pretty well. But he has since taken the rear off and only runs the front because he feels it rides better. He has had some drive train probs, but I am sure most would agree that ride with him its more "riding style" than the lift.

I would get the Perfex Long Travel kit at this point, over a traditional lift myself.
Where is the best place to get the perfex kit?

Jon
I am running an ebay lift on my 500 since April or May and have had no issues yet. I mud and trail ride and sometimes pretend mine is a sport quad when the warriors piss me off on the tight trails.

easy i heard that
What is this Ebay lift? Who makes it? I never heard of it.
Do an advanced search on ebay and click include titles and descriptions, and then do a search for honda foreman 500, and you should find it.

I think it is sold by SS ATV. Pretty nice looking kit.

Jon
O.K. thanks. I will try that.
Man they have really gone up. They used to be $65 when they first started selling 'em.
Thanks Leo. Those ain't much cheaper than the Highlifter lifts. Are they
any better?

I think they were $55 at first. Inflation must be rough.
