i just replaced both my front wheel bearings like 3-4 weeks ago and i noticed on our ride sunday that it seemed like something was popping in the front end...well i finally got around to checking it out and it seems like the left front bearing is gone again....am i correct or is there something else in that area that could make it feel bad....this pisses me off to have it go out that quick....i am not that rough on it...
When you put the new bearings into the knuckle, did it drop right in w/out resistance or did you have to drive it in w/ a bearing driver and hammer? If it fell right in, you need to replace the knuckle. I have replaced about two total but is something I have seen in the shop.
