alright what do I need to do to my 2000 foreman 450 s, when I first start it up it smokes like a mother , but after it warms up it only smokes every once in a little while, seems like only when i rev it up and let off it quickly. Someone told me that it was something to do with the valve seals, is this correct? Also another quick question how hard is it to change to front wheel bearings on the same wheler.

a press to get the old ones out and the new ones in.
You can put the new ones in the freezer overnight, to shrink them a bit and help them slide in easier. I used a puch to get them out, but it was no easy feat. A press would be nice, but I don't have one.

I have an arbor press at my dad's should have let me know. The freezer trick should work good.

I would say that your valve seals are shot. When the motor sits the oils seeps through the seals into the cylinder then when you crank it up it is burning oil. You will more than likely have to have a machine shop put those in it for ya.

The bearings made by All Balls Racing are double sealed as well. I have them in one on me fronts. THe 500s were the same as the 400 Foreman's. They were only $17-18, including all the seals.
