Perhaps the snorkel on the exhaust is restricting the air exiting the engine now giving you less power, I might also guess that with less air going through the engine the plug would show that you are running rich. If you check the plug and it is rich than I would say you have ruduced the air flow.

This is just a guess, but you may have to rejet since you put the snorkel on.

i thought of that too RR but, i am running rich but not any more rich than a new rubi out of the shop. so i dont realy think that is it. i also put a snorkel on to try to get ram air but i cant realy find a good way to do it. so im kinda running some tests right now.

well heres a update, i raced him without my exhaust snorkel and yet again he still beat me. so just to do it i am going to rejet to see what that has to do with it. i will let you all know what the outcome is when ever i do it.

well are you going to race him through all the mud holes too lol.
You'll never get that to beat him with snrokles on, too much air intake drag not enough coming into the motor and not enough exiting through the exhaust. To get back your performance you'll need a good amount of jetting and possibly a cam.
