Older Rubicons were true 500cc motors. The new foremans and Rubicons are actually 475cc motors.

Ok. I apologize. I was under the impression it was the same motor, but more options.

I've raced an 02' Rubicon (499cc) and I beat it easy. I also raced our Rincon and didn't loose by more than 2-3 lengths. It didn't start pulling until I was in 3rd gear or so.

However, I raced the POS 660 Grizzly on just 27's and beat it both from a dead stop and a 3rd gear roll. 660's were the worst bikes ever made by Yamaha in my opinion.

I raced it in a straight line. And it's an EFI 680. It's had 25" tires and mine has 26" tires. My bike slowed down alot once I hit 3rd and the Rinny slowed down when it hit about midway through second. He just slowed down a little less than I did.


I would still rather have the rincon over the Foreman for everyday trailriding. Rides like a caddy.
