450 vs 350

I have never had a problem with my 450 ES. 9,100 km. and only oil changes every 1000 km. A bud use to have an older 350 and it had more GC than mine and his was faster also. The 450 has 2 rear shocks , I thought that would be better for 2 up.Now for me.., my wife hates wheeling, so I took of my buddy seat and got the biggest cargo box I could find.I would go for the 450 but its your cash.If you go smaller you'll always wonder what that 450 would have been like. Good luck and let us know what you decided
ok thanks for the info. ill probably get the 450 then. ive been looking for one for awhile but cant seem to find any around here in ontario. there all in the us or far away from me.
I have both a 450S and a 350ES, and if there both sitting side by side it depends on the task at hand as to which one I choose.

Trail Riding, Rancher Handles better smoother ride responds better to driver input.

2 Up riding, Foreman has more room for 2 people and Handles the extra weight better.

Mudding, Toss up to me the Foreman has more power and heavier so then it sinks faster.

The rancher is more driver friendly and responds to driver input faster than the foreman.

The Foreman will outwork, Pull/Haul/Tow the rancher.

it will depend on what your use for the 4 wheeler will be.

A mostly trail machine with some work Rancher

A work Machine that gets out on the trail sometime Foreman.

If I could only have 1 it would be Foreman I due 70/30 Work/Play with mine.

if I was 30/70 Work/Play it would be the Rancher

Work I due is Skidding Logs and pulling trailer's full of Wood.
The Rancher is adquete and more nimble driving around trees but the Foreman can pull a bigger log than the rancher.

just my thoughts sublime out.

also have to decide if you want the 4x4 or 4x2 traxlock that the foremans have vs putting the warn 4-2-4 on the rancher to go from the 2wd to 4wd

I have the traxlock on the foreman and makes it nice for goofing around in 2wd and then 4wd when you need it. the Rancher is always in 4x4 no option unless you add an aftermarket for it.

good luck they are both great machines.

thanks for the reply. sounds like the 450 would be best for me. im thinking of buying the 2002 honda foreman 450s that Tran901 is selling for $1800. im getting it shipped to canada, ontario. does anyone know what the shipping cost would be to ship from memhpis ,tennissi to london, Ontario? and what would the best shipping company be that would do it for the cheapest? would there be any problems getting it shipped across the boarder? like fees. it has the title for it so idk.
thanks
