I would like to get a new filter when ever I get my pipe and jets. I notice that some people use a K&N and others have a unifilter. I have had neither so dont know much about them. So which one do you guys think is better, alsodo you have to have some oil with the unifilter. I was looking at them and saw that there was a oil for sale with them. I didnt quiet understand that. And if you would kinda explain what the unifilter is that would help. Sorry for the newb question.

Well you will hear varying opinions on this subject. My feelings is foam filters (uni, twin air & stock) trap more particulate, ecspecially fine dust. Cotton filters (K&N) flow more air but in turn will allow more particulte through. All of them use a filter oil to aid in filtration.
