Water wheelies and water riding??

I'm not trying to start any trouble with this thread, i'm just curious as to what the big deal is with the water wheelie thing and riding in water that can basically sink your machine. I don't ride in water or bottomless mud pits so i am pretty much clueless in that department.

Most of us here are from the south where it is very hot most of the year. and nothing feels better than riding in nipple deep water in the hot summer.
for some reason its just fun, maybe its the challange to trying to keep your machine afloat, i dont know, but I really cant think of anything more fun. And in FL, there isnt a whole lot else

Why you got to bring the nipples into it?

another reason like Robb said is this is Florida.....there is nothing but water....

but i like it as well...nothing better than wheeling through the water one handed so you dont spill your cocktail..

its almost like a ******* jet ski for fresh water

Love that!
I have always gotten a kick from going through stuff that people think you are crazy for doing. It really is a lot of fun, I personally would not have as much fun on just trails I just love riding in the water the deeper the better. everyone has there likes and dislikes I guess this is just how we ride down here. I had much rather have a fourwheeler than a jetski I can ride in just about as deep of water

Im with Bnjeep. I like going deep where not to many people would follow. Heck thats the reason I also got 29.5's. Its all what you enjoy.

Axel popping gets attention too.

But like mentioned earlier, we don't have hills, snow, ice, rocks or even all that much sand down here. All we have is water and mud. we make the most of what we have.
I can definitly understand where you guys are coming from, i guess it would be a good way to cool off and attract some attention. Up here the water is friggin cold and i don't like wearing chest waders when i ride, i cross enough creeks and rivers to give me all the thrills i need, sometimes a little to much!!
A lot of us wear waders here too. At least when it gets under 90 degrees.

I can't give it a break everytime it gets old you break another or one pops out. But I'll leave it alone.

I don't mind getting dirty.

Up here in PA, We don't wear waders till it is in the 20's.
Today, 10-23-05 it is sposed to be 47 degrees.
But we have a lot more "stuff" floating in our swamp water. Not many of those nice clean/clear streams around here. They are mainly to keep the bugs and weeds out of your pants. Well at least for me.
We have to wheelie in the water cause most of our bikes wont wheelie on dry ground.

Yeah but your water doesn't get down to 30 degree's either, try riding through that without some kind of insulation!

Its a attention getter. When you see someone in the middle of a lake 3ft to 4ft deep it is just fun. And its the only place i wanna wheelie with someone on the front of the atv right derick. Most of us should belong to the ATV circuis
