I can't tell you a lot about superwinch or milemarker, but I have both warn and ramsey winches and are very happy with both. I do think the ramsey is a cut above the warn. I have the remote too and do not use it much.

Warn is sealed the best and has a lifetime warranty. I have the 3.0 and have used it while completely under water without any probs at all.

I love my warn 3.0 got it at www.rockymountainatv.com for $359. I have had 2 of the 2.5 warn's and they don't hold a candle to the 3.0. I have made every recovery, it never quits. This includes kawasaki mule and toyota 4x4 p/u.
What is so different about the 3.0 when compared to the 2.5? I've had mine on for over a year now and it hasn;t even slowed down, i've pulled out quads, moose, Argo's, tree's, all kinds of stuff and it has never let me down. I've had it under water to and it still works as good as the day i bought it.

The 3.0 has all metal gears. The 2.5 has some plastic. I saw a limited edition 3.0 at ATV Outfitters. It was red and has the synthetic rope.

heck i like my Milemarker 3500. got it for $229.95 shipped.. Love it! pulls really slow but a STRONG winch. its amazing. i even got a Warn mini rocker and put it on the handlebar.. my friend has a warn 3.0 on his rancher and something has either stripped or the clutch aint engaging all the way? Got to tear it down to see whats the matter....
