Well guys I have been trying to figure out which winchto get and I was just about ready to order a venom or gorillia and then I just went the totally in the other direction. I decided to go with the new warn RT series winch ......I may regret not buying a gorrilla or venom but I have always been the type that thinks you get what you pay for ........some may call me a sucker but I have never had any luck with bargin items ......here is the link to the winch I bought .....I hope the warns are as could as everyone says and I get many years of service out of it .

i think the new rt series is like the 3000# winch was. everything on winch is suppossed to be completely sealed. i've had my winch for 9 months now and no problems, of course there are people who have bought a cheaper winch and haven't had problems either.

i had a warn on my jeep for years and it never left me stranded, so i figured i'd stick with warn for my foreman

Going with the Warn is the right choice.

Yeah go with the RT series. I just installed the 30RT myself. I haven't used it much, but I know for a fact that it will work when I do need it. Allterrainonline.com had the cheapest prices and it free shipping. Great company to do business with. Had my winch and mount in less than 48 hours of ordering it. I can't say enough about them. Best online or (not in person) purchase I have ever had. Let me know if you have any questions. I would be glad to help. Most on here only push Gorillas, but will dump over a $100 on a single tire. Doesn't make since to me, but thats just my opinion. The winch is insurance of getting your ATV out of the woods at the end of the day.

I have the Warn RT25 and love it. The synthetic rope is awesome as well. I think you made the right choice.
