Venom Winch Mounting?

Anyone mounted the 3000X Hardcore Series on a 05-06 Rubicon? I have the model specific mounting plate that I put on last year for a 2500lb Venom, decided to upgrade the the 3000 with remote switch and the motor housing hits the fender brace rod? This plate is the one the shown on their website for this new winch model, am I missing something?
