Valve adjustment and sealing the recoil starter????????

The recoil block off shouldn't affect your warranty, mine was actually suggested by the shop foreman in Marshall when I bought one a couple of years ago! And adjusting your valves will not void your warranty either, as long as you don't break something doing it. I will throw this for you though, when you take off your recoil starter, it makes it harder to do your valves! So at least leave it on until you do those!

im needing to do valves and the recoil starter. how can pulling the cover then putting it back on make the valves harder to do. this is the first ive read of this. elaborate if you can. thanks

he may assume you were going to take off the entire recoil starter....if that was the case it would be hard to adjust the valves cause you use the pull starter to move the valves
