They do make a stronger one, and I thought about doing that for a few minutes, but I would rather break a u joint then something in the motor. Make sure you take a good look at your output shaft, chances are its bent. You can bend it back if you have access to a dial indicator, saves a lot of trouble.
yea when i was gettin pulled back in i think that the two peices caught each other and broke the shaft in the motor. so i have to replace that...
THE LAST TIME I BROKE MINE I PULLED THE U-JOINT OUT OF AN OLD FOURTAX 300 AND PUT IT ON MY FOREMAN ITS ALOT BIGGER (THICKER) THAN THE ONE THAT CAME OUT OF THE FOREMAN. GUESS ITS JUST LIKE EVEYTHING ELSE MADE BETTER BACK IN THE DAY!
what year model was the 300? i might try that.
yeah sucks you cant buy them like that anymore, I think they all share the same part number so no matter what bike you order it for its the same.
The big killers of the ujoint is the lift kits, in my opinion
do yall know where i can buy a turner joint? and how much? or do yall have a spare 300 joint around?
ITS A 98 FOURTRAX AND A 05 FOREMAN. FITS PERFECT AND HASN'T BROKE YET (KNOCK 0N WOOD!!!!)
that turner joint is expensive!!! i think i might just search me up a 300 joint or just get me a stocker.
