two flashes?

went through 30 pages, can't find an answer. what does 2 flashes on the shift indicator mean? it is on my wifes rancher.

Code #2 is "ES shift switch system (up and down)" ... You will have to check the couplers for the switches & ECM .. And test the switch buttons ..

This bike is a 2006 TRX350FE ..?..Code #2 on the 2006 TRX500FE is a shift switch code also ..
