bobbyd, thanks for the post and pics, its a diffrent way of doing it, and it looks mean. i'm looking for ideas right now, i am wanting to run 2 2in pipes out of the air box, stock inlet and then cut another one. i've seen it done of 450's. but yet to see pics or any one say they have done it on a 500. the single that i have right now has a screw on and off section so when i flip it it woudlnt snap off.

yeah, they were bent afterwards. it could have been that roll or the one i did the week before. this one wasn't as brutal by far, so i think my buddie lucked out and wasnt' the one who bent them, it was me. nuttin a little tuggen couldnt take care of.
