Triangle Snorkel HELP!!

OK,
I have had this for about 2 weeks. I have not put it on just yet because I am concerned with the numerous warnings and tips. I understand taking a gas powered engine underwater can be potentially ugly.
What about the fuel issues? They recommend plugging the tube that comes out of the bottom of the carb. If you don't do this, this tube could suck water up into the carb. If you do plug this line, then your carb float will allow fuel to run into the bowl and possibly floos out the bike. Kind of damned if you do and damned if you don't.
Also, traveling with the bike will potentially cause the air box to fill up with gas if you don't turn your fuel off? Do you have to do this? It would suck if you forgot to turn it off.
Then, the possibility of rejetting. I guess I should wait until my HMF muffler gets in before I rejet.
Anyone have a snorkel and can give me some tips on it?

go to home depot or lowes and get the same size tube that comes off of the carb and run it to the top of the snorkle. never heard about the airbox filling up with gas. if yo dont want the hassle of having to rejet twice then wait. there is a product called dial-a-jet. dont know if you have heard about it but you jet your four-wheeler and if you add something or go up or down in altitude, then it has a dial you turn to adjust, kinda like rejetting. i think thats how it works.
