Too much fuel stabilizer?

It is now the time of year where I tend not to use the atv. I may use it once or twice a month, but only to move a small trailer for me to snow blow around it.

So, it is time to stabilize the fuel. Can you actually put too much in?

yes 100%v you can add too much and it will cause poor or NO running at all issue's
going a LITTLE past the recommended amount is OK< but I would NOT go a lot past that

personally if it was me, and parking for MOST of the winter I would DRAIN the current fuel out of tank
and replace with NON ethanol TREATED fuel
ethanol is BAD fuel period, and the longer it sits , treated or not, it still does damage and can go bad!

I agree with dry storage, but since using stabilizer, have gotten away from it. Dry stored carbs can have the float stick.

Ethanol storage without stabilizer is asking for trouble. I got attacked by the corn lobby for trashing ethanol.

My 2-cycle boat engines were the worst, stored from Oct-June, stabilizer made problems go away.

Seafoam - 1oz per gallon, gives trouble-free storage and a clean fuel system. No popcorn in the jets! Marine Stabil is good for storage too, but I keep seafoam around for use during the riding seasons to keep the corn at bay. If I skip that, I get to pull the carbs and clean out the popcorn. Carb removal is a real pain on the street bike.
