Tire Question

1082 Views 2 Replies 2 Participants Last post by  Bigvick
I just put some new Carlisle ACT Radials on the other night. My question is I seem to have some tire hop in it. I noticed when turning tight on pavement the rear tires want to hop around (only at very slow speed,i.e. 1st gear) rather than turn, also I was climbing a small bank at my house and when I would start up it the rear tires would hop a couple times while climbing. Should I add air or let some out? I am running 5lbs (same as I always have). My idea is to let 1/4lb out until it stops. I was just wondering if anyone has had this and is it something i'll have to live with?

Sounds like you are on the right track..... let some air out little by little.
Thanks! I'm working on it. This is my first set of radials on the foreman and wondered if that had anything to do with it. It seems like 4 1/2lbs is gonna be perfect for them.
