Is it possible to replace the factory thumb throttle with a throttle similar to a motorcycle throttle? After 15 to 20 minutes of riding, my hand starts hurting and I believe it would be more comfortable to have it that way? If someone has done this or knows how to do it, please let me know! Thanks!!

It is made that way for a reason. The twist throttle is not safe for ATV's
You can change it if you want to but most people I know who have done that eventually change it back.
