Thinking of getting a rincon 680. What do yall think about them. Most of the riding is thick mud and water.

I do a lot of riding in the florida everglades. It is alot of mud and water. It gets very nasty. i am just concerned about the fact that it is water cooled(i.e. the radiator) and the fact that the motor oil is also the hydro fluid for the trans. If it gets sunk, then there is a chance of messing up the trans. I know that i could put the reduction kit on the bike, and it will turn larger tires, just curios bout the reliability of the bike.

I have 2 friends with Yamadogs. I am not impressed with them at all. One has a 660, and the other has a 700. The only thing they have that I like is the selectable locker.

I think I would get a Brute or a Can-am before the Grizzy.

My bud with the 660 has 27" laws with a clutch kit, My 500 right now has 27" laws stock. We went through the same holes, and I kept spinning mine, his bike bogged, and would not spin at all.

My bud with the 660 the 2nd time out broke a rear axle. That was a first that I have ever seen.

Well, tomorrow I am getting a demo bike from the Honda dealer here, I will see if I like it or not, even though it is stock.

I took the demo out yesterday, it ran pretty darn good. I was impressed with it.

It was bone stock, but it ran the everglades pretty good. I could see a little work needed for 27" tires, but i really liked they way it rode and handled.

The only problem was when I tried to put it in reverse, it would grind. If i shut the bike of and started in R. it was ok. What was the deal with that?

I was at a complete stop, and I tried to pull it back slow and fast.
