Thinking of getting a rincon 680. What do yall think about them. Most of the riding is thick mud and water.

No problem. I just don't want people to buy the wrong ATV for their needs then bitch and moan on how Honda sucks down the road. As I stated they will out perform any other Honda. They will turn up to 27" tires stock, with some performance mods you can go bigger. If you wanted to run the same tires you have now on it it wouldn't have any trouble.

I do a lot of riding in the florida everglades. It is alot of mud and water. It gets very nasty. i am just concerned about the fact that it is water cooled(i.e. the radiator) and the fact that the motor oil is also the hydro fluid for the trans. If it gets sunk, then there is a chance of messing up the trans. I know that i could put the reduction kit on the bike, and it will turn larger tires, just curios bout the reliability of the bike.

lol that was mean, but its true. Your a lucky guy Chris, your father buys one of the nicest bikes made, puts some half decent tires on and and steals my rims. And then leaves it for you to play with for about 95% of the year. Very envious I am, very envious.

I have 2 friends with Yamadogs. I am not impressed with them at all. One has a 660, and the other has a 700. The only thing they have that I like is the selectable locker.

my friend has a grizzly 660, i realy like it. he hasnt had anything too bad happen to it so far and its a 05. he started having problems after he started modding it though, but yet again nothing major. he is very pleased with it but he said his next bike will be a brute.

Learning that I've got more control for most dirt road driving in ESP/2wd mode. Drifting control etc using accelerator. Cuts my time to the mailbox from 14 minutes in the 4Runner, to about 8, one way...

Love mine... and I've got half million miles on 2 wheels. (yeh.. I'm an old guy). Been a Honda fan since '61.

My bud with the 660 has 27" laws with a clutch kit, My 500 right now has 27" laws stock. We went through the same holes, and I kept spinning mine, his bike bogged, and would not spin at all.

If you ride mostly mud and its nasty, you would be better off not getting a rincon, their more for trail riding. We ride alot of mud and all our guys have different bikes. For true mudders (29.5 Outlaws) Articcat H1, Just mount 29.5s and your ready to ride, next is the 700 Grizzly , clutch kit then tires, next Can-Am 800 ,clutch kit, lift, snorkel, next Brute Force Then King Quad,Then Polaris 800. They will all perform good but some take more work to make them true mudders.
