The best way to go about finding t.d.c. is to remove the spark plug put a 1/4" drive 6" extension in the jug until it touches the top of the pistion. then turn the motor over by hand until the extension has reached its highest point. is the motor out of the bike? A dial indicator would be helpful to get it within +/-.002 or two thousandths
TDC question.
Where is the index mark located on the crank for TDC. This is on an 05 Foreman. Is ther some type of inspection sight??? Thanks.

The TDC inspection hole is on the right side just above the foot rest .. It is removed with a 6mm allen socket....
