It is not ok to use regular Mobil 1 oil with an ATV. It takes a special motorcycle oil which I find is hard to find in Mobil 1. Mobil 1 is a fuel conserving oil and Honda specifically says to not use a fuel conserving oil. It will cause slippage in transmission (engine and tranny share oil). I believe if wanting to use Mobil 1, you should use Mobil 1 MX4T 10W-40. Just got my first oil change and plan on using this next oil change. This is what Mobil 1 advertises for the MX4T 10W-40.
