i use Amsoil 75-90 severe gear synthetic in the rancher and in the pickup truck and my dumptrucks too.works great for me.as for a difference?in my '97 peterbilt 357 tri-axle it lowered the axle (driver) temps by about 50 degrees in the summer.so i know it works.
I used to use teh OE Honda shaft oil. BUt I hate going to the dealership for those little pint bottles. I now use Valvoline full sythetic or blend 85W-90, I beleive is the weight. I change Mine every oil chnge, if not sooner.
Amsoil has never let me down.
Thanks guys
