I have a set of Super Lights and yes the compound is harder than the mudlites. Also they have a wheel guard to protect the shiny wheels from rocks.

Ok thanks for the info.
Hey Sweet tooth....What do you mean by a wheel guard...Is that just side wall tread? The extra tread to stick out to protect the rims? Hmmmmmm

The tires have an overlap that looks like a lip and it protects the wheels from getting scratched at the corners.

Here is a picture to show you what I mean.

That little feat is well worth it specialy when you spend 400+ bucks on wheels.
Ahhhhh...Great pics.. That explains it. Now i gotcha.. Thanx
I have done some rock crawling and that rim guard has been a blessing several times. I like the mudlites but these suckers have longer thread life and they have the same features. Besides they don't have their have stamped on the thread so people won't see that you run ITP tires when they see your tire tracks LOL
how deep is the tread on the superlites are they the same depths on 25 -27 in tires
^ only difference is that Super grip only offers the AT on the 25" size but they do have XLs after 26". ITP does offer XLs on 25's
