Well I went for a ride today in a lake by my brothers house. There was a friend of his son that was on a big arctic cat. Would you believe that those things don't float well at all with a winch and bumpers. We ended up sinking both of them in a hole about 9 feet deep. The front of the cat sunk right to the bottom, the snorkel didn't help at all. I had mine floating for a little bit but the snorkel was barely above the water and I was loosing the battle so I just shut it off and went for a swim with waders on. Once I floated it out I got it up to high enough land and drained the airbox and fired it right up no water in the oil. The cat was not so lucky, all but the back bumper was under water for about 10 minutes until I went and got a rope. Luckily it wasn't a vtwin so I drained the oil/water pulled the plug and pumped all of the water out. That 10 minute ride turned into a lot of work this afternoon. Too bad I didn't get any pictures, that hole was deep.
