Stupid Question

On all of the snorkles that I have seen I've noticed that the snorkle runs right above the exhuast before it enters the airbox . Will the exhuast heat cause the in coming air to heat up and cause the 4wheeler not to run as well as it would with out the snorkle? Or will it not affect it at all?

I wouldn't think it would make any difference. In order for the breather box to pull in warm air there would have to be some sort of metal box around the exhaust that the breather pipe runs into.
mine is good ,i took off the heat shield too.
runs fine the stock snork runs a bove the exhaust for a bit too the airthat the snorkel draws in is cool and dosent sit there long enofe to get hot
