Stock or Aftermarket exhaust?

On my 1999 foreman 400 the muffler seems to be coming apart inside, it has a rattleing noise and sounds tinny what would be the best to replace it with? I see alot of chat about aftermarket exhaust but I am concerned about it being to loud? What after market is the best?

Well the best is the HMF but it is also the loudest. Cobra exhaust is the only one I can think of at the moment that is easy on the pockets and not to loud with some performance gains. If I can remember some of the others I will post them.
and hmf exhaust is great and like dirty said it is very loud but u can buy a quiet core insert and it makes it ALOT quieter i think that would be your best bet
I am really not concerned about the noise when I am pouring on the power but I am concerned when I am idleing and just off idle trail riding!
Because I do ride it alot when I am hunting. I did price out a stock replacement and it was about $220, How much is the HMF?
