is anyone having trouble with their steering squeaking on a 05 , 06? If so does anyone know if there is a grease insert where you can stop this?

Nope but I only have a little over 100 miles on it.
That's where mine squeaks from. WD-40 stops it for a little while, but after
one ride, it starts squeakin' again. I'm sure you could somehow get a grease
zerk & drill it in somehow & grease it up, but seems it would be more trouble
than what it's worth. That squeak sure would be nice to get rid of though.
same thing here, I spray a light lube on it an it seems to help some, but what bugs me more is that my instrument pannel cover viberates while I ride.
anyone have the same issue?
Yeah my POD cover rattles too. Talk about A-nnoying!!! I took my cover off and put some weather stripping around the display, and it helped for a little while, but now its starting to rattle again. I'm going to have to go back in and try some differnt stripping, maybe thicker. I think there are about 682 topics on this forum about pod rattles!! LOL
i just fixed that on mine today. I stuck a bunch of carpet foam in mine and it seemed to work for now.
squeek

i had the same problem, it only squeeked when i turned left! is that weird or what? i hit it once or twice with wd-40 right where the steering goes into that collar thing...it was fine for a few weeks...it started again so i took just about a whole can to it and sprayed every part of the steering down to the brakes....it has never squeeked since....!!!
Yup...WD-40 seems to dry out the rubber over time....I have noticed this on vehicles as well.

100% silicone spray is what I use before each ride. Quiets it right up. It happens on my Bro-in-law's Recons ('00 and '04) too, I think it is just the clearance with the rubber bushing...nothing to be alarmed about. Water and dirt can get in there and wash out the rubbers natural lubrication. The silicone spray works fantastic!
my rear end squeaks, and i'm sorta scared of knowing what it is
My rear end makes noises, too! Just not the squeaky kind.
