my 02 450 foreman speedo quit working
and the gear indicater doesn,t work either
but it will shift and run
the neutral light and rev. light will come on

is the display bad or maybe a sensor ?

Mine did the same. Turned out being the speed sensor. Worked fine for a while, then stopped shifting altogether. Wouldn't go too far without checking it our further.

If it just shows "0" then it's probably the speed sensor , if it doesn't display anything it's probably the dash/coupler/wires ...
