It's finally here!...I'm heading to Southern Honda next weekend to pick up an 05 Foreman. I was wondering if anyone would mind sharing their experiences in working with them? What about their available accessories? Do they offer reasonable prices on winches, etc? I thinking about having them install a 3,000lb Warn when I get their. Any info. would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

If this is the one in Chattanooga, Tn., I bought my Foreman there last May. I was the first one there on Saturday morning(1/2 hour before opening) and was out the door in about an hour. I was preapproved. I would do business with them again. Prices as advertised... After driving to pick it up, bringing it home, and paying my Ohio sales tax, I saved over $800 over local dealers.
I thought they wanted too much for the winch and mounting. Got a new 2.5 Warn with mounting plate off e-bay for $319 shipped and installed it myself. Took a couple hours.

buying from southern honda

I noticed that a lot of yall said soomething about ordering your atv's, are they usually out of stock and have to orderr them, or was it just a timing thing. Also are there prices true to the website, can I add the listed prices up on the webpage and walk out paying that much. It is a 1500 mile round trip and i don't want to be wasting my time. I am going to buy 4 atv's so if what they say is true it will save me over 4000 over the local dealers. I will call them tomorrow, just wanted some input from yall.

I paid the price quoted on the website out the door, no tricks. It is a good idea to call before going so they have time to get the atvs assembled/prepped. I'm not sure if you could get it done in one day otherwise.
I was the first person there on a Saturday morning when I bought mine. When I left with mine an hour later, the place was packed! They have about 4-6 salesmen if I remember right, and none of them were bored. I was told they average 20-30 ATV sales on a Saturday. Thay is how they make their money, on volume.

make sure yo call them first, before you go down there. It takes them about 2 hours per atv to get it from the warehouse to shop and uncrate it. Really it takes longer to pay if you tell them you are coming than it does to get the atv.

Not to turn anybody off of Southern Honda, but has anybody delt with A&B Cycles out of Mobile, Al. Before i bought my 07 new, i called A&B and they gave me a price of 5,900 otd. My dealer matched the price but wasn't happy about it. I saved about 1,100 by calling A&B. Anybody ever been there?

I got my new 07 Camo Foreman there on Black Friday last year. They had a bunch in stock and they had it marked down too low for me to turn down. I think the retail was $6500 and I got mine for $4900 ($1600 off). It came with the stick guards, I forget what their called at the moment. As good of a deal as that was they ended up dropping the price down to $4500 by the end of the year, I didn't mind though, I felt like I got a great deal. Greg was my salesman (tell him Chad from Alaska referred you).

Its a good thing I bought one down there before I moved up here to Alaska. They go for full price up here and don't even think about asking for a discount. Regardless, Southern Honda has got to be the best place to get your new Honda.
