I am guessing you are talking about the airbox drain hose. Probablly about 1/2" in diameter and about 3" long...atleast on my 01

no this is something different...

its not that red drain tube thing for water and stuff

this is like a tube thats black... a hose haha. thats it

it comes out somewhere from the airbox or somewhere around there.

i noticed that it was just hanging there one day i was pressure washing.

i have ridden a few times and nothing actually seems to be wrong, but just wondering what it could be.

if your looking at my rubi from the back the carb overflow tube runs downs from behind the air box (the carb) and just kinda hangs there. maybe thats it

Sounds like the crankcase vent tube.

What size hose is it? The carb drain is small(about 1/8") the crankcase vent is about 1/2".

If it's only 1/8 it's most likely the carb drain hose. It runs from the bottom of the carb, not the airbox.
