Well I dont know, snowmobiles all have belts and had them since they probably were invented and they seem to work great. The belt is a maintenance item though and it would probably be wise to change it out regularly, just like on snowmobiles and you'll be fine.

Just sold the wifes Rincon and my Foreman and bought the 2007 650 h1 and the 700 EFI. We will be riding this weekend and I will post my thoughts on the cats.
