belts

my friend just bought an ac about a month ago. If you are in good sticky mud....invest in belts.....posibily even the belt company.

Good luck
crazyfun450 is right on the money. Why you would get rid of a Honda and go to an Artic Cat is a mystery to me. Good Luck. .
they make great snowmobiles......ive heard of many problems with there atv line though...good luck...

It's looks like a lot of bad reviews for Artic Cat and I have to ad another one.My brother-in-laws AC 500 has been nothing but trouble. It's a 2004 model, hopefully all the problems are ironed out by now.Good Luck with the Cat's.
WHAT WERE YOU THINKING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

posts like that are un-called for. If he wants to try other brands, then so be it, its his money. yes we all heard of horor stories of other brands, but nothing is bullet proff these days. If you keep the oil checked, the gas clean, and the rad clean your good to go. Keep a eye on belt wear and you shouldent really have any problems.
Just cause its not a Honda, doesnt mean its no good.
Again Best of Luck, and Have Fun!!
Chris
sorry 350hondaman I pissed you off. I was trying to be funny.
none taking bud.
just hard to tell if someone is joking or serious on these forums !!

have a good one folks,
Chris
From what ive seen checking into the 07 Ac's they gone over them pretty good and fixed alot of the issues they were having . I would have bought one myself but with 2 kids i'd need some kinda lottery to afford one or least buy one without cutting somewhere more important. I ended up buying a 99 foremanES with change in the bank. besides you cant see any writing on the side when its covered in mud:)

Since this is basicly a honda web site thats what we would expect. Good luck with the artic cat. Just hope there are some hondas around to pull you out.
little ceo im right next to proud of you, i wish i had the cash ill be damned if i wouldnt get an artic cat to, they are the best bike for the $ around here, and all of yall talking about "hope theres a honda there to pull you out" and telling him he went wrong, i'd like to see yall try to follow him.

my buddy has a 650 vtwin and he rocked all over me i was in just over the racks, he went past me in reverse riding a nose wheelie and his mess was completely stock at the time, then he got some 29.5 outlaws and i never followed him again.

like i said ceo have a ball draggin hondas backwards,

p.s. snorkel it
They are tough, no doubt, but if it has a belt, trouble is a coming!!!!!!!!
im not tring to start a fight but belts are not as bad as you think. last weekend i was riding a water wheelie on my brute force and the water was over my back rack, never had a belt issue. that same weekend a person i was riding with on a grizzly got water in his belt because the water was too deep, i got in the creek to pull him up out of there(water wasnt too deep,it was just over the muffler). all we did was pull the drain on the belt cover and tiped it on its side so it would all drain out. after that no belt problems at all. i have no snorkels and i still never had any problems in water, my friend did but he went too deep for his snorkels. i just tring to show you that belts are not bad at all, the key to not having one slip is to have it tight and not wore out. sorry this is kind of off topic but i just want you people that always had a honda to understand. BTW, dont bother to fight with me because i will not answer you if you are wanting to fight about it.
