heres mine
Hey SASQUATCH I am gonna try and get some diamond plate from work.
Sasquatch, I made my bracket out of plate and a 2" rigid coupling. I copied my cousins bracket he got with his Triangle kit. I will try to get a close up pic. for you.
Cool thanx duck. Yea Charlie that sounds like a good start. Iv been lookin around out here tryin to get some ideas but no luck as of yet. I just cant think of a nice clean way of attaching the pipe to a pice of plate metal with out using tie wraps, ducktape, or bungie cords!
Hey SASQUATCH I got a male to female threaded coupling that will tighten down on the plate when you drill a 2 1/2 hole.
I ran the Rincon thru the front plastic small piece ( cheap to replace ) and the Foreman thru the small plastic piece ( cheap to replace ) and the Rancher thru the small plastic piece ( cheap to replace )...Does anyone see a pattern here? Ha Ha Ha..
Sasquatch, sorry it took so long. I took Rincon 650 idea and justed added to it. I wanted to be able to replace that plastic piece if I ever took it off. This is just a piece of plate with a 2" rigid coupling welded in it. I has pvc male adaptors on both sides.Hope you can tell I took these with my cell phone. I couldn't get but one to post.
Lowe's sell a 2" shower drain for about $5 that you can use to bolt to the plate you are mountin to your rack. That is what Robb and I have. 2" PVC fits right inside and there are two bolts that hold to our aluminum plates. It makes it easier if you do not have access to a welder.
Good thinking Truegrit...Never thought of that..
i used a rod of allthread and bent it, drilled a hole in the rack and mounted it with two lock nuts then just used electrical tape to mount it to the allthread rod..

Hey thanks guys for the replys. Me and tx mudslinger put our minds and a case of budlight together and came up with this. Were gonna cut a pice of the rack out and weldin a 3inch long pice of 2inch pipe. This will give the most support and with the rubber cupplers it will seal no prob. Well post some pics soon.
IM LOOKING TO PUT A SNORKEL ON MY BIKE AND WAS THINKING ABOUT "Y"ing OFF THE PIPE TO MAKE IT LOOK LIKE TWO SNORKELS, (JUST FOR LOOKS). WILL DOING THIS MAKE IT TO MUCH AIR BEING SUCKED IN OR DOES IT EVEN MATTER.
You would get to much air with two snorkels but if you wanted to still do it just for looks which by the way i havents seen yet just plug one off with a shut off valve of somesort
As long as you "Y" it off a single piece of pipe, don't see where it would pull any more air from two pipes going into one vs one single pipe. The bottleneck is still at the "Y" of single pipe where they tie in together and from the "Y" to the intake. At least not enough to measure the difference in air flow. All this being said if using the same pipe size all the way.
