We had to taper down the snorkle on ours too. Also, when hauling it, put a bag over the snorkle or turn off your gas because otherwise you will end up with an airbox full of gas.

A cap is a good idea....I just use a plastic grocery sack and a rubber band.....a cap would be easier and not quite as ghetto!

u got the ghetto part rite, i dont know where to get one at, im guessing any hardware store that would have pvc stuff but you may need to go to a like plumbers store or something, i needa find another one to put in my exhaust snorkel, cuz when i park my bike in the backyard where i do the pipe sticks out like 6" past where the roof is and i think when it drains off the roof it goes rite for the pipe and maybe thats why when i crank it up sometimes smoke comes out

Yeah, or start backing the bike in!!
