the triangle atv snorkels are really good that what i would go with .
alright thanks that's probably what i'll go with
triangle atv kit is high quality and looks nearly factory. I would get it and takes all the quess work out of building you rown and only took me about an hour to hour 1/2 to install
I the Triangle snorkel & so does my wife. We both love them. They have
all the connections to snorkel all of your vent lines & also has a drain. You
could build your own for a lot less, but if your like me & not very crafty, this
is right up your alley.
I agree, Triangle kits are very clean looking and takes all the guess work out. If you want to keep a good looking bike looking good, I would buy from them.

I've seen some pretty mucked up jobs on snorkel kits from the do-it yourself people.

I too have seen some doozies.
how about a homemade snorkel. i thought about doin that. anbody got some suggestions on how to make one the best
I do custom snorkles with the HVAC hose ( Wet Vac ) and mine turn out like this. Cost is about $30.00. Here are some pics of a 450 Foreman and 500 Foreman..
i dont know much about snorkeling. i would like to make one. i would also like to seal up anything that doesnt need to get wet. if anyone could tell me exactly how to make a snorkel, where to run it from, what to seal up, what to seal up with. i would also like to know what other things i need like (jet, exhaust, etc.) oh yea i would also like to make it a dual snorkel. any advice would be greatly appreciated thanks
First take the seat off and find the carb line dropping down from the carb bowl. Plug this so it doesnt suck up water. Then find the 2 carb lines on top of the carb that come out of the sides of the carb. These should only be about 6 inches long. Extend these up under the head pod. These are breather lines. Do this with regular carb hose from Auto Zone.

Reference to the snorkle, the 2 inch HVAC ( Wet Vac ) hose fits most bikes. Remove the stock air intake that comes from the air box and goes under the front seat in front of the gas tank. This hose will fit into the air box. Seal this with black RTV. Run the snorkle under the plastic and fish it to the front. I locate a place that the snorkle will come out of and drill a 2 inch hole. The hose comes up thru this and you can attach the vacume extention wand in the end of it and seal this as well. You can trim this to the height desired. Now you have a sealled run from the air box to the top of the snorkle. To dress the top of the snorkle, I put a 2 inch 90 degree PVC elbow on the top after you paint it black. Add salt and pepper with a touch of Ms Dash seasonin and you can eat and swim. Good Luck..

thanks for the info. how do u make it dual? should i get a jet or anything? also i read about di-electric grease. what all should i put it on. if you havent noticed i want my foreman just about as waterproof as i can get it.
No problem..Yes, the dialectic grease goes on the spark plug. And in reference to a duel sorkle...I would run a solid piece as far as you can run it. I would split it up under the front of the bike as high as you can get it. You can actually get a PVC 2 inch x 1 1/2 inch " T " from the sprinkler isle and run 2 1 1/2 inch spa hose from these and BAM..you got a duel snorkle. I have done these when someone wanted a duel snorkle. They look good. Just remember..use the balck RTV as much as you can. Its all balck anyways....
thanks for all the advice
No prob... Let me know how it goes..or if ya run into any snafu's...Good luck.
You've done some good work Rincon 650...

Do you find it easier to center the snorkel or what's the reason?
Its more uniform and the front pod light isnt in the way when you turn the bars. You also dont run the chance of catching it on branches when it is in the middle. As long as you put it at a height that isnt annoying in front of you, then it istn an eye-sore.
Okay, I just liked it because it was something different.
hey when put the snorkel on do i need a jet or a pipe
