Robb, Does the snorkle help if your bike flips upside down? LOL
Looking forward to you "snorkle report".

Check out this link for the Snorkit. It is a ready-made prepackage snorkle for the 450. If you do not want to make one yourself.

Yeah they dont do well when the bike is upside down. I did add that in my write up lol, just gotta go get some pictures and I will have it up. Speaking of the Snorkit, I ordered one, but by the time it got here, I had my own made for a whole lot less, so I sent it back, never even opened it up, but im sure its a nice piece.

I wish mine worked that way, mine worked like a shop vac when it was upside down! And it did more then just milk the oil, not fun stuff.

Found something else you deep sea divers may want to add to keep the snorkles upright.

You are welcome, but really the best way is to put a new jet in there, even if its a small step up, that with the needle and mix screw you can tune the entire power band.

If you were to keep all the piping around 1.5 inches, you shouldnt need to do anything to the carb. and if thats still to much, you can just close off the opening of the snorkel a little. But I think 1.5 piping you should be fine.

By far, the tips on the Triangle page are probably some of the best tips and ideas for riding in the deep stuff. Good work!

I dont know...for a 105 bucks you get this???

I wouldnt waste my money on that. You are looking at 15 bucks tops in parts, and like Deadmullet said, it doesnt appear to do anything for your vent tubes.
* A little off topic * Hey Deadmullet - What are we looking at in your avatar...I stared at it for like 5 minutes, almost looks like an amputated leg or something lol. Does it have to do with your screen name? Chopped up fish or something?

That screw is your carb drain screw, turn that when youve been in the deep water for a while and it doesnt want to run good anymore, that will drain your carb bowl thats supposed to full of gas, but can take in some water from the carb drain tube hanging down - the bigger black thing is your idle adjustment.
By the way - all that stuff is way to clean!!
