1.5" may be the size of the opening but a piece of 2" pipe will fit in there with no problem....


the snorkel works better if there aren't any obstructions, the straighter the path to the airbox the better flow....i will need to redesign mine b/c it has too many bends in it...


but i have 2" coming out of the airbox and going up to the front.
it comes out of that little panel between the racks right in front of my thrid headlight...

go with 2"...

my dad and I both had stock bikes, the snorkel is the onlything i added on mine and i out ran his ass everytime....MORE FLOW! hahaha

yeah i know a guy who has the same 2" setup as me and he gets more air than i do b/c i have a bunch of bends that go around my shock...his is straight from the fender to the airbox...

you can hear the difference in the snorkel when you give it gas...

his sucks harder than mine sorry, had to say it.

i also saw a foreman with dual snorkels and it was a beast...bore kit and the works...he gave it gas at a dead stop and snapped an axle.

but he had two snorkels with no problems...i think he drilled a new hole and had two intakes into the air box...

i dunno...i'll ask him

the plug info is in your owners manual also...

i talked to the guy with the dual snorkels and he was trying to sell it and it got stolen...

someone cut the chains to the trailer and stole that sucker...

he had a big bore kit with a piston from a small block chevy in it...
