With the Ricochet you have to buy the front skid plate also (not even sold seperately like the Alumiunum Products version).

My $.02, buy the Aluminum Products version. I just received and installed their Stik Gards and the quality and fit couldn't get any better. I also like that Aluminum Product's takes the extra step to emboss recessed areas where their products bolt on (usually in the factory original locations) to give a totally smooth bottom. Speaks a lot for the thought they put into their products.

I know they say their bottom part will not work with the stock front plastic skid plate, but I bet with a little simple trimming of the plastic front plate it will work. If I didn't already have my plow mount and custom "mid" skid plate on mine I would buy it and try it in a heartbeat.
Thanks GT. Does anyone know if the AP front skid plate will work with a WARN front bumper?

No clue on that one, but you can borrow my plasma cutter and I know it will fit

Better yet, give the folks at Aluminum Products a call and I bet they know.
I would buy the Richoet. Get oh High Lifter and do a search on AP and richoets. The richoets fit so nice and have big cut outs for your oil drain. Good Luck. Also if you have a copy of ATV magaizine in the back there is a code for 10% off. I think it's atvmag25 but not sure. Good Luck
I dont know all of what they have but I just bought the diamond plate stick stoppers and bash plate from Highlifter and they are cool.
Thanks for all the info. I may just break down and get the AP skid package with the front plate and the underbody plate. Ill do some more research on the Ricochet though.

Here are some closeup pics of the AP front skid and the beefy winch mount they use. I have talked with those guys a few times and not only are their products great, but so is their customer service.

No affiliation, I just appreciate quality and well designed products when I see them.
GTRider,

Did you see the pics in the old thread that 2Foreman "resurrected" today??

Seeing those pics have pushed me over the edge and I am ordering the Front Skid plate for a winch today!
Thanks for that GT. I do like the AP stuff, just dont like the fact you have to have all or nothing.
no thats the Highlifter one HL doesnt have Ricochet on there website
Richoet are sold out of Utah Motor Sports I think. They are great plates. I have been told the AP cv covers rub when your a arm. Richoets are great. That is all I will ever use any quad I buy. Good Luck
