I don't wanna have to leave the house any earlier than 8 a.m. (It's gonna be a LONG night) AND I can't go over Friday evening because I think we are going to dinner w/ Shane's dad for his birthday.

Last year's flier says Sat & Sun only, gates open at 7:00 a.m. Saturday. I can't find a flier for this year, but there was a phone # on last year's and I called it and the guy has all the info, the # is 863-697-1167.

Okay, here's the website for it: www.stroid.net it really doesn't have anything more about the event than the dates and pictures from the last event and other events.....and it IS on Friday also! It's the 11th, 12th & 13th! Hmmm....maybe I WILL have to come Friday night!

I haven't been to Mudfest before, but if it's anything like L-Cross (also in Okeechobee) I don't think I would bring the little ones. Things tend to get a little crazy now and then. But if you DO bring them I don't know if I'd let them ride their own bikes. I don't trust all the drunks on motorized vehicles (4-wheelers / trucks / buggies) to watch out for them. BUT, like I said, I haven't been to Mudfest before so maybe someone who HAS been there could give some input.
I know I don't even let my 14 y/o go with us.

(I went to the last one that there was and i dont think that is a very good place to let little ones ride their own bikes if they would ride with you that would be fine but there is going to be alot of swamp buggys..............its not exactly like l-cross but very very close

Dang! You can't switch weekends? Then you just have them two weekends in a row next time? Take em' out to eat or something Thursday evening...... ??? Me and my X used to do stuff like that when we needed to.

AAhhhh...I got ya. That sucks. I was fortunate enough to have a pretty good relationship w/ my Ex after the divorce and my son was only 2 (14 now). Well good luck with that. Hopefully over time it will get better!
We'll miss ya!
